Play The Music Inside You

What is your passion? What sets your soul on fire and makes you feel like you are totally in harmony for the reason you exist? You can know this for sure: Whatever it may be, you can make a living doing it and at the same time provide a service for others. I'll bet my bottom dollar on that!

The only thing that will keep you from playing your music inside of you and listening to your heart is fear. According to A Course In Miracles, there are only two emotions: the first one is fear, the other love. You may fear disapproval from others. Take the risk and find out that you may receive more approval then you ever thought you'd get! You may fear the unknown. Take that risk also! Ask yourself, "What is the worst thing that could happen if this falls through?" Guess what? You just move beyond and get through it! You will find that you won't starve to death or be tortured for not succeeding!

You may have been conditioned to believe that you are inadequate and limited. Throw these ideas out the door! Challenge these absurd thoughts and go for what you know that you are here for on this Earth! Let success chase you, for no doubt it will. Let the music play that is inside you!

See The Little Things In Life

How many times in our busy lives do we let ourselves pass up the opportunity to observe the many little miracles around us. Take time to stop and look at a small green sprout emerging from a seed this spring. Allow yourself to feel the awe of what you are seeing. The scene of the emerging sprout represents the beginning of life. No one in this world knows how all this works. What is that creative spark that makes this work?

If Your Thoughts Are Filled With Doubt

What you think about expands. So if your thoughts are filled with doubt and you have a closed mind, you will act upon those closed-minded doubt and you will see evidence from those thoughts everywhere you are. But, if you are to have an open mind to everything, you will act upon the inner energy which will make you the creator and receipient of miracles wherever you are. Open yourself up to all ideas of people. Listen to what they have to say and be curious.

Have An Open Mind

I always entertain great hopes.

by Robert Frost

I think this quote is great! How often do we keep our mind open to new thoughts or ideas. And when we do get a great idea, how often do we just let go of it out of fear. You know what I'm telling you. The fear of not being able to succeed, what will others think or maybe even the fear of succeeding. Who hasn't let fear creep into our everyday lives?

I made up my mind to refuse to allow myself to have low expectations of what I am capable of doing in this lifetime. As Michelangelo suggested, the greater danger is not that your hopes are too high and you fail them; it's that they are too low and you do.

I believe one of the hardest things to do is letting go to the attachments of certain mind sets that we were conditioned over the years. From an early age we have been bombarded with rules and what we are capable to do. An example of this would be the myth that girls can't do math. It took me years later to find out that I was actually quite good at math! We let society put labels on us. How often we let these thoughts take over our every day living!

Open Your mind to all possibilities!

Life On The Fast Track

How often do we find ourselves stuck on the freeway of life and can't find the exit ramp. You know exactly what I mean. We get up everyday, grab a quick cup of coffee and out the door. Usually your spouse is still in the shower or just rolls over in bed to catch just another few more winks before their rat race begins.

It almost feels like we are being made into some kind of human robots. Your employer has you as a number and reminds you daily of it. Our society has made us that way. I don't know who set up the ground rules, but here we are!

I think it is time for us to start to take the road less traveled and live our lives that we had dreamt it could be when we were young at heart. Who said in the first place that we had to give up our dreams? I don't recall anyone even asking me!
